A Stduy on the Effects of Iterated Administration of divided dose of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin on In vivo Growth and Development of Hyperstimulated Mouse Embryos

Abstract
This study was performed to investigate the effects of iterated administration of divided dose of human chorionic gonadotropin on hyperstimulation process of in vitro ferilization program.
F1 hybrid(C57BL¡¿CBA) mice were used to observe the in vivo growth and development of hyperstimulated mouse embryos. For group I. 51U of PMSG. And 5IU of HCG were given with a spacing of 48hours intraperitoneally. For group II. 51U of PMSG and
2.5IU of
HCG were given in the same manner as group I. For group III. 5IU of PMSG and 2.5Iuof HCG were given with spacing of 48 hours and then 5hours later another 2.5IU of HCG was given in the same manner as group I and II.
In four days after HCG injection(for group III the first injection of HCG). the number and characteristics of the embryos which were found in internal genital tracts of the mice were evaluated and analyzed.
The evaluation and analysis resulted in a conclusion that iterated administration of divided dose of human chorionic gonadotropin was very efficacious in hyperstimulation process of mouse in vitro fertilization program
Because the conclusion was come to from the evaluation and analysis of the effect of hyperstimulation in terms of in vivo growth and development of mouse embryos. In some ways it was directly concerned with essential effect of hyperstimulation
process
and could be applicable to human in vitro fertilization program.
